Shocking Experience
That was about fifteen years ago when I replaced that wall outlet in my
living room, because the old wall outlet, whatever I plugged in wouldn't stay plugged in.I had probally had a few beers too.Otherwise, I probally would have cut the juice to all of the four outlets in my living room. Two of the wall outlets are on one circuit, the other two are on a different circuit. I weigh about 185 pounds now.On February 19th this year, I weighed 210 pounds.I know it was February 19th, 2009 and I weighed 210 pounds because I wrote it down on the inside of one of my bathroom cabinet doors.Maybe that booze I quit drinking last January had something to do with my diet.I am staying on my diet untill I get skinny, skinny, skinny. cuhulin |

Why bother? Everyone KNOWS there are no fat people in Mississippi. mike Quit eating meat, for the most part. I just have occasional barbecue, and turkey on Thanksgiving. No more 3 slabs a day of dead animals. Helps the planet, helps the waistline. |

(panther) I have to watch this here Ned Kelly movie on the TCM channel now.Because it is one of those thingys and I HAVE to.You wouldn't understand. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb....t/wildcolo.mid And then I reckon I might wash both of my big old long tall Dodge vans and then fiddle fart around in my back yard some more. cuhulin |

Shocking Experience
"Just Plain Burr" wrote in message .. . "Brenda Ann" wrote in message ... "dxAce" wrote in message ... I had one experience like that when I was maybe 16 or 17 and I decided to mess around inside a Hammarlund receiver, quite the shock. Only other thing like that I saw was another guy in the Navy getting into about 5 KV, sent him across the work space, but he was OK. My most fun shock was when I was about 22. Was working on a microwave oven, and got across that .5uf 4KV cap. Definately a more stout jolt than from a TV CRT... I always thought, up to that time, that getting launched backward across a room by a jolt like that was something that only happened in cartoons.. well.. after I picked myself up from a large pile of stainless steel cookware on the other side of the kitchen, I thought much differently. Definately got my attention (and got my heartrate up to about 200 for a couple minutes..) I stuck a coat hanger in the sparkplug on an oil hot water tank onetime, went across the room also. I've had a few trips across a room backwards. I put my tongue on a 9v battery before. |

I have never had an electric shock because when I work with electricity I concentrate. Same level of concentration as driving or shooting guns. Zero defects, zero tolerance. |
