Interesting, isn't it, that arguably the worst and most stereotypically
nasty, foul-mouthed, and crime-encouraging figure on the "racial right"
turns out to have been almost entirely a bought and paid for creature of
the regime in Washington.

When I investigated the blowhard rhetoric -- and utterly fictional
manufactured "news" items -- that Hal Turner turned out, it became
obvious to me that there was something phony about the man. At that
point, I encouraged all responsible European-American activists to keep
many miles between Turner and themselves and to scrupulously avoid
giving him any publicity.

So far as I am concerned, such financing and running of phony leaders
and organizations by the Washington regime is utterly illegal and
unconstitutional. Such acts poison the free and open political discourse
that is supposed to characterize self-government.

With all good wishes,

Kevin, WB4AIO.

Acehole did the stirring and did so at every opportunity.

How's the bike? I picked up a used '05 883 Sportster. The rubber
mounting makes a completely new machine out of the species. The thing is
downright civilized compared to the '75 xlh parked next to it.

Actually, that's not exactly the case.

Bike is fast and smooth in the cold weather. Took it out after
the snowfall, yesterday. Very brisk riding.

As it should be.

Still haven't moved on the Road King, but that will come next
year. Unless PowerMotor Sports makes a deal on that Guzzi California.

I like Guzzi. The shaft drive is great. The local Harley shops charge
1100 dollars to replace the rear belts on some models of the Big Twin.
Engineering at it's worst.

The rear wheel has to come out. Then the swing arm. The complete primary
cover also comes off, along with the clutch and primary chain.

It's over a half day labour. The belt is approx. 300 dollars.

I'll bet a lot of owners will be considering their options when trade in
time happens.

I deal with the factory shop in Milwaukee. They've been saying
since the belt first appeared that they don't even stock it because
breakages are so rare.

Are you seeing belt problems?
