My mom and dad had six kids, four girls and two boys.My brother and I
Joined the U.S.Army, we were not drafted. We both were in Vietnam at the same time, in 1964.I once caught the Chaplin Run (after getting permission from my Company Commander, of course) one Sunday morning to go visit my brother (he was eight years older than I) at Vung Tau,Vietnam. He was a Helicopter Mechanic at Vung Tau. Mrs.Sullivan (The Fighting Sullivans) had been hearing rumors around town for some that her five sons had been killed in action before the U.S.Navy broke the news to her. cuhulin |
