It would great to elect Tim Burns, who is the Republican candidate

the passing of Jack Murtha.

What idiot would put this on a welding site. I hate Murtha but morons
who put stuff like this out are much worse

woop te doo .. I make my own home power. **** off

I'm happy for you, enjoyed all your talk about your hydropower
system.
I wondered whether you could transform to high voltage for your long
distance run, to
save on wire cost. Then convert back down at the house.

That is an issue faced by many .. especially those with wind turbines for
sure on high towers.

I am lucky enough to have the turbine and batteries housed in the same
shed .. about 6 feet of wire (max) from source to batteries. Then I use
an inverter at that point to send it to my house with 120v AC for about
50 feet using regular nomax (?) out door rated AC type wire you'd find at
any hardware store.

But you can produce 'wild ac' as they call it at the turbine and then
transform to DC to charge at the batteries for sure. I'm not uber sure
how that works but I've read about it. A lot of wind guys have to do
that for sure.

I suspect that you are on the side of less government but just don't
want
to get involved.

I am involved but not on this newsgroup.

This country became the strongest economic power in
the world
in just 150 years. We did that with a lot less government regulation
and the population
wasn't working the first 3 or 4 months of the year just to give
government programs.
This is only the second time I have made a donation to a candidate,
I
expect to give 9 more $100 donations. I want donate to conservative
candidates that are close enough that I can help them succeed.
Be nice, Mike

I did have a few beers before posting the **** off thing, to be sure.
Normally i try not to use that kind of language on here. But the
brilliant thing about this newsgroup is that we are focused on isses
relating to making power for our homes. Thus the name
alt.energy.homepower I don't give a rats ass if someone is a left wing
environmental vegitarian nut or a jesus freak right wing drill baby drill
blow hard as long as they give good information on the subject and are
honest in how they go about contributing .

dig?

Two full lenght narrow pieces.I put one of my abrasive cut off blades on
my Skilsaw (Skil, brand name, registered by Skil company) circular saw
and I put on my respirator thangy.I know better than to breath that
asbestos dust stuff.Mama didn't raise no fool, this fool raised
himself.I also replaced three full size pieces, no cutting required on
those three pieces.
You can't cut asbestos house siding with a chainsaw, that just wouldn't
work at all.

He doesn't say anything to me anymore, GOOD!.He looked around at the
front of my house.

He knows I do a GOOD job working on my house, he also knows he broke my
chainsaw last Summer. He knows where to find that oil drain plug on the
bottom of his lawn mower too.Last Summer I showed him where it is, he
didn't know, he was too damn lazy to look for it.

Show me where where that oil drain plug is!

Chain saw? *Asbestos siding? *Do you have a mask? *A spray bottle? *A will?

Actually, the mechanical reduction of asbestos building material is
usually left to experts who seal the house, keep the whole thing wet
and constantly check air quality. By God, if you don't want jailtime
and lawsuits, don't tell your neighbors!

The Republican candidate is Tim Burns.

Really?!

He is a politician by definition (because he seeks a position of
influence in government). And yet he claims on his website that he "is
NOT a politician".

Wow! *You sure do have a grasp on the obvious!

This means two things:

1) That he is a liar.

You should know all about it, being a liar.

2) That he obviously thinks that there are enough gullible people who
would vote for a politician, to appoint him to be a politician for
their district, who says that he "is NOT a politician".

I personally would not vote for such a dishonest liar.

Your nym certainly *is* accurate (though perhaps 22434 too high).

* Ah, don't pick on iggy he's ok.
The point is we need to get conservatives elected or we will still have a
speaker Pelosi.
* * * * * * * * * Mike

Do you know how many seats the GOP would have to get to kick out
Pelosi? Time to stop breathing all that solder flux.

It's you who has sucked too much lead.

You really can't think of a good reply, can you. Admit it. The Tea
Party is being used by the GOP.

Actually...given the taunts, buffoonery and utter gibberish spewed by
Leftwingers..it would appear that the Tea Party is used by the DNC for
than anyone else.
