The U.S. is able to use a tool called "economic protectionism", but in Europe, none of this is possible... In the U.S., the government finances in a direct or indirect way industries, in Europe we decided that it is bad... In some ways, Europe is far more orthodox (economically speaking) than the U.S. This results in an absence of flexibility (in Europe). Everybody stays in his position and people suffer from the lack of imagination from their political leaders... Sebastien. |
