SNOW,
A long long time ago many of RadioShack's Radios were made by Hitachi. Then for many years, RadioShack used to Re-Badge other manufactures radios and equipment with there own Brand Names. More recently, Sangean has made most of RadioShacks "DX" Series of World Band Radios. Today RadioShack is becoming a Brand Name Re-Saler: Grundig; RCA; Sprint; Dish TV; Direct TV; and others. (A 'mini' Circuit City) jm2cw ~ RHF .. .. = = = "snow" = = = wrote in message ... I was in a Radio Shack for the first time in about a year and I notice they no longer sell their own models but sell Grundig, etc. Did Radio Shack get completely out of making the DX series?? There must be some good discounts out there somewhere on the DX models if that is the case. .. |
