The "cloudiness" appears to be within the display itself. Sort of like
streaks of pigmentation. The frequencies can be read, fortunately. Wow! Triple conversion - this is incredible. Now I'm really fascinated with this radio. Thanks for the info - - - "starman" wrote in message ... It was made by Uniden. Same as their CR-2021. It was one of the best portables of the 80's. It has a triple conversion design. It was based (loosely) on the Sony-2001 (not the 2001-D) which was the first fully digital shortwave portable. Is the LCD display on your DX-400 "cloudy" because the clear plastic window has a lot of scratches or is there a problem with the display itself? -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
