Actually, I konw several socialists and none of them have identified Clinton or
Kennedy as "kindred spirits". A few support Ralph Nader, but I've never seen a
real socialist support a Democrat. To them there's not a dime's worth or
difference between the two major parties.

As for any "social control" agenda, the world has changed. The difference
is that the guys we have in there now took any new "social control" (your
words - not mine) powers reluctantly, while those on the left hunger for it
and scheme to socialize our government if they get the chance.


I've given the socialists I know a lot of crap for not supporting Democratic
candidates. But if a socialist would run on the platform of providing universal
health care, I'd probably vote for them.

Just as you'd probably vote for a fascist that suggested "reluctant" ways of
enhancing social control in this changed world.
