The plot of the movie is about a group of colonial minded prospectors who take
over a planet, only to find the inhabitants self destruct,
takiing out the prospectors and their infrastructure en masse.
- So a 6 month adventureby the prospectors turns into decades of turmoil
Bankrupting the prospectors
sending their currency into a tailspin
and reducing them to poverty and a barter economy . . .
