I have a Sony ICF-2010 that is probably fifteen years old. Lately I've
noticed that its sensitivity is not what it used to be, at least in the AM band. To verify it, I tried my Radio Shack DX-398 next to it and the DX-398 blew it away. I've heard something about a front-end FET in the Sony being prone to problems. Could this be the reason the ICF-2010 is ailing? And is this something I can fix myself? Where do I get the part? Thanks in advance. Steve Cooper |
