Somebody needs to remind the Department of Homeland Security that
there is no "November election" - it's "elections"; 51 of them, to be
precise. (If it was just one election, we'd probably have a different
President.)
As for moving the day on which the Electors cast their votes, all that
really takes is a Congressional law to change Title 3, Section 1 of
the United States Code. The only problem I can think of is, if there
is no election before January 20, 2005, then the 20th Amendment
(unless it was changed by the 25th, but I can't find anything in the
25th that applies to this case) says that the Congress decides who
acts as President until there is an election...but there may not be
anybody in Congress if there was no November election (does Louisiana
still have its open vote system?).

You want me to call you, you want pictures from me.
And I should do this why?
Because you say so? You really have lost your mind. You should try drinking
kool-ade, because whatever it is you're drinking has had a serious effect on
your brain. You will get nothing from me Steve. I see your obsessions and
your pathology in this group all the time, and I will not feed into it like
some othe people who you are obsessed with. Like I said I think you used
to be a pretty good person, but you are not any more. You are a very crazy
person. Just look at all of the posts in this thread from you in one day.
You have big problems Steve. I'm not buying into your mania. You can wait
as long as you like. You apparently have nothing else to do.

WOW! You spelled 'tard twice. You are a republican! I'm not going to

and I
don't sit in front of rrs salivating and mumbling to myself like you
obvioulsy do. Take it easy on your self Steve, try going outoors and
breathing fresh air. And maybe you should drink something that does

not have
an acohol content. You are a perfect example of an old saying. "there

are
only 2 kinds of republicans, rich ones and stupid ones." I have seen

the pic
of your house and antenna 'farm', and you are certainly not rich.

Care to post a pic of your 23 radio's, house and antenna farm?

I'll be waiting.

Still waiting, 'tard. Maybe you'd rather substitute a pic of that drum of
Kool-Aid.

I often wonder if they are as blind and gullible as they appear, or their

foolish pride will not allow them to admit they have turned the government
over to a puppet named George, who is controlled by big business and the
military. Surley as republicans they can't believe that the ever ballooning

is the opposite. They do not question why the party that is suppossed to
shrink the fed has created an "office for election assistance." An office
that is suppossed to help with fair elections with a official appointed by

Characteristic delusional paranoia from both of you---not that the
actual facts of the article matter much when there's a good baseless,
anti-Bush rant to be had, but here's the operative sentence stripped
of your spin:
"Newsweek cited unnamed sources who told it that the Department of
Homeland Security asked the Justice Department last week to review
what legal steps would be needed to delay the vote if an attack
occurred on the day before or on election day."

Gee, do you suppose it's worth -considering- whether the election
should be postponed if a terrorist attack occurred on either -the day
of the election or day before it-? Considering that one of the
favorite whines from the 2000 election was the ridiculous "count all
the votes" mantra, shouldn't we assure that everyone possible gets to
vote and isn't deterred by an attack?

Oh, and it would probably take a constitutional amendment as well.
But what's a fact or two when the paranoiacs are at work?

What's this crap about Kool-Aid?

As a (relatively conservative) Liberal living in a very Liberal city, I
can assure you that if I went up to a young mother in a supermarket, (of
either the "Yuppie SuperMom" or "Tofu Eating Earth Muffin" variety, about
the only two choices left here), and suggested Kool-Aid as a beverage
for her children, she'd have me arrested for promoting child abuse.

As a class indicator, Kool-Aid suggests a much different demographic
category.

PS. if this is an allusion to Jim Jones' Peoples' Temple mass suicide,
they used, (as I remember the pictures), one of the even cheaper
imitations. Lickem-Aide or Cheri-Aide or something like that.
