It probably still is. I had interaction with the President at the time and liked him, but couldn't imagine anyone, except Castro, speaking for hours at a time. The deafening roar of dials being changed was one of my most painful experiences. I think they're also *required* to play the national anthem at midnight.... I don't recall that. Rich |
