You can use them together to passbandtune for much more seletivity than the Yaesu FRT-7700 preselector alone is giving. For sure you have to fiddle on the knobs a lot. This may be another thing with other brands. Well, years ago, when I got back into the shortwave hobby (circa 1982 or so) I did eventually purchase a FRT-7700 for use with the FRG-7700 which I had at the time. |
