I had one of those 'expensive' TenTec receivers for around a month. Sent it packing, back to its birthplace. Way to much money for very little increase in performance vis a vis the Drakes. I've done all right with my current line-up. dxAce Michigan USA http://www.iserv.net/~n8kdv/dxpage.htm |

I've done all right with my current line-up. I've kept my RX340. Sometime it does better then the Drake R8B and sometimes it doesn't. They are both terrific radios with their own characteristics. The difference between them performance is not much so I can understand your assessment. 'tards are people that just don't get with the program, any program, independent of what radio they happen to own. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

Well,Ten-Tec is just up the road from me in Tennesse and so is,
www.jeepdoc.com and I own a 1942 Willys World War Two Jeep and I own a 1948 Willys Civilian Jeep too.One night at Tan Son Nhut,I "borrowed" a Jeep to go to that bar where my Vietnamese girlfriend (Le Yhume) worked on Huen Hue Street (Street Of Flowers) right across the street from the U.S.O.and I used to bring her sandwiches and Shasta grape soda pop from the U.S.O. cuhulin |
