I noticed alignment problems with a couple of radios, especially where FM
stations sounded better when they're tuned to where the dial reads 96.15 or
something like that, but I think those offending radios were Radio Shacks or
Sangeans that did that.

I've owned several Tecsuns, and none seemed to have any alignment problem.
The BCL-2000 drifts as we all know, but the PL-350 isn't analog so there's
no drift.
