I did a www.devilfinder.com for,Square Miles Area of England.The
Straightdope.com link says England is 50,400 square miles,Scotland is 30,400 sq miles,Wales is 8,000 sq miles,Northern Ireland is 5,500 sq miles,Isle of Man is 225 sq miles, the Channel Islands about 75 sq miles all together, but not officially part of the U.K.The White House estimates an area of about 90,000 square miles (234,000 square kilometers) has been affected by Hurricane Katrina.Prepared or unprepared,it is a huge task getting help and aid to that large an area especially after a tragedy such as Hurricane Katrina. cuhulin |
