you sir, are a moron
he did NOT disclose that the analog display does not work he LIED about the history of the radio. do I need to go on ? what do mean he fixed it ? he says it is broke ! he never sold it and had it returned, he bought it from me ! if someone sold you a katrina flooded car and LIED about it would you be upset ? well that is what radio-mart does all the time get a clue people... some of you on this group are incredibly stupid... I have been trying to tell you that.... the guy LIES and CHEATS people, simple as that although that is quite a serious issue ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Harvey Bignose" wrote in message roups.com... "mike maghakian" took a greey crayon out of the box and scrawled on the usenet wall in message ... Radio Mart is making a big profit off the BROKEN FRG-7700 that he bought from me a few weeks ago. with a few hours to go it is already $62 above what I sold it for. He has NOT disclosed all of the problems or the truth about how he got it How do you know that it was not fixed in the intervening period of weeks before you sold it and he allegedly bought it? (assuming it is the same radio) What is so wrong may I ask if someone buys a radio someplace and makes a profit on it later? This is called Capitolism last I checked Mike. So he's making $62 above what you allegedly sold it for. Big frigging deal! 5 years ago I purchased a 1970 Dodge Charger for $2200. Car needed a complete off-frame restoration as it sat in a barn in Nebraska from 1983. Two years later and $12K invested it's now fully restored and was recently apprased at $24,000 - not a bad investment in time and labor eh Mike? Tell me what's the difference if I bought a broken down radio someplace and re-sold it for 4 times what I paid for it? Sounds good to me and if you disagree then you can go cry about sour grapes till doomsday for all I care...... He also bought a Sany 8880 portable with 2 HOLES in the side and immediately re-listed it but DID NOT disclose the holes ! How do you know it's the same radio? If it is the same then what is your issue with it? You are not selling it nor are you bidding on it. Why expend so much energy on this? Forget it and move on and I hope you find a better deal someplace someday. I myself found a National NCX-5 with the matching Speaker/PS at a yard sale this past summer. Got it for $35.00 I guess some myopic hams may be mad if I sold it on e-Bay someday for $350 eh? Jeeze........hams are such a bunch of tightwads that are wound up tighter than a garter snake's arsehole..... ; ) |

I once bought an Elvis Presley notebook for a lady friend in England.A
guy by the name of Robert in Hamilton,Ohio had them for sale for $4.50 each.It wasn't exactly like a bid auction thingy. (he had them for sale on eBay) He had included his name and snail mail address and his email address. If I see something on eBay I am interested in buying and if the seller at least includes his or her email address so I can get in touch via email,I will email the seller about whatever item or items.I have been to two auctions before here in the Jackson area.At one of the auctions,I bought a big bench Sears Craftsman metal lathe ($350.00) and a big metal cutting bandsaw. ($40.00) I can't see why those sellers at eBay dont at least include their email addresses. Is there any paticular reason they dont? By the way,if y'all see junkinjudy at eBay,she lives here in Jackson,Mississippi. cuhulin |

Some of those people at the flea market would probably go out of their way to find him, tho. And not to say hi to him. --Mike L. |

With ebay, he controls what you see. In person, you could move that manual or power cord to notice the scratch or missing screw it's covering. You might notice if the tuning knob binds. If power is available, folks could fire them up. On a more positive note, Radio Mart reached a milestone last week - his 100th negative feedback. Oh, and for folks who'd care to stick up for Martyn, why is it he accepts Paypal, but his auctions aren't covered by the Paypal buyer protection plan? |

I noticed he had a Drake 2C up for sale a bit ago loaded with mods, however he stated it didn't have the noise blanker, which I thought odd since it had every other bell and whistle on it. Now I see he has the NB up for sale. Hmmmmmmmmm... I kinda figured he'd do that after I'd read the 2C advert. dxAce Michigan USA |
