I sort of know a guy (sort of because sometimes he post at
www.lucianne.com and www.pipelinenews.org) who retired from the U.S.Army and he lives in Hattiesburg,Mississippi. He worked at Kagnew Station in Africa www.kagnewstation.com in decyphering radio signals.I guess he knows quite a lot about radio jamming and much more. cuhulin |

It might be a North American relay.

Maybe the Russians would use classical music to jam CRI. That would be a nice change of pace. I heard a program on CRI yesterday with a couple of very American sounding announcers reading mail from people about their hometowns (in China). They put in a strong enough signal here to run the LED s-meter on my Kenwood RZ-1 to the top of the scale and keep it there.. |

We're less than 350 miles from China (just go straight north through the DPRK), and regularly hear AMBCB from China, and during e-skip openings have heard FM BCB from Xianghai and points north. (interesting, we never hear anything from Japan, though, and they're much closer, only about 900 miles from Tokyo, less than 500 from Fukuoka) |

I get strong signals direct from China and relayed from Cuba. I can get them any time of day. I think they are relayed from Canada also. -- Telamon Ventura, California |
