Isn't there a TIS station on 800 kHz for Midway?, might be the second harmonic
doing something to your reception.

Well its not sideband after all,probably speech inversion of a sort.
a BFO did not make it more or less intelligible. I can hear it in the car
over a 4 square mile area,the TIS at midway is very weak and barely makes
it off property at night..
