wrote in message oups.com... There are presently six or more CB radio Amps for sale on Ebay. These devices are NOT LEGAL .Against the law.. I wonder if it Would it be OK if I listed some counterfeit money,Untaxed moonshine whisky,Maybe some Wacky weed for sale? Can someone Please tell me why such a simple law cannot be enforced ..Or will not be enforced.".the old man " eBay has no particular interest in closing down auctions, as they get their money from the seller based on the selling price. I know of at least one case where they cancelled an auction but told the seller how he could resubmit to avoid admitting in the listing that the amp covered CB frequencies. eBay's claim is that it is not their responsibility, it is the seller's responsibility to make sure what they sell is OK. On a related not, Tiffany's claims that some huge percentage of Tiffany material listed on eBay is counterfeit, but eBay says it is not their problem.... - Bob |
