hello all, i have a question reference WARC bands dipoles. will using a common feed line be a problem? nothing fancy, just a three band dipole (6 elements, 3 each side) using a common feed line and supports. just wanting to see if someone has already tried it and what their results were. any info will be appreciated. I haven't actually tried it, but I haven't heard anything to indicate a problem unless they are in beam formation in which one band becomes a reflector in a higher band pending the spacing. I would suggest spacing the elements 8 inches apart. That spacing seems to make things work better than a closer spacing if the antennas are parallel. -- 73 for now Buck N4PGW |
