What your talking about is that you don't want to follow FCC rules. If there is a QSO on a frequency YOU should move not the people already there. Unless you have emergency traffic you have NO priority over anyone who is licensed to operate on any giving frequency. Have you even past a ham test? Maybe your license should be revoked until you can prove you have read and fully understand the part 97 FCC rules. that would serve the interests of the ars OTOH merely advocating something stupid is not cause for revoking his license http://kb9rqz.blogspot.com/ -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

The cause for revoking his license is that he has a problem with following the FCC's rules. The rules are there for the benefit all of us. If he doesn't like the rules he should turn in his license in protest not spread hate. What ever happened to the true sprit of ham radio where those with higher knowledge would help left up those with less instead of pushing them down. |

SC 1. I filter the idiots out so I don't see their posts. 2. I do not believe in attacking the new hams as they are not in control of the testing policy. 3. The way to get good hams is to elmer the newcomers in the necessary skills and show them how great it can be not drive them out with derogatory comments. We can all do our part to create good hams. I might propose that to the FCC.
20 wpm Extra's have more important QSO's than nickle hams and no-coders do, that's why we should get spectrum priority. I agree. I HATE when I have finishing a contact and some calls me at 5 WPM when I was operating at 20 plus. I dont even respond. |

I hear you, Normally I just tell them: "Catch ya channel 19" and they QSY to 11 meters, but since I don't own a CB I don't show up. It helps clear the freq fast for your next QSO. Try it Sometime.
