Yanno, that question, "Would you buy a used car from this man?" got
kicked off in the 1970's, I believe. My first acquaintance with that
question was when it was on a t-shirt with the image of "Richard
Milhouse Nixon" above that question.

I suppose there are quite a few people still left around which would
purchase a car from old "tricky dick." Maybe mostly his cohorts,
friends, partners and other random fools.

Of course tricky dick made another statement rather famous, "The
people what to know if their president is a crook or
not ..." (paraphrased here) But of course, as history has proven--he
was ...

Can't say I've ever had a problem w/ any of those folks either, although I'm
sure at one point or another I've disagreed with one (or all) of them on

But that is a different NG; it has nothing to do with this NG and is off
topic. kb9rqz and len anderson are often off topic, thus they support a
fellow troublemaker (John Smith) when he posts off topic.

The thread you started was an unprovoked, ad nominem attack on several good
people, not all of whom I have always agreed with but all of whom demand a
lot more respect than your and your buddies do, based on your (mis)
