The Teutuls are a waste of skin AND oxygen. mike There are many shows out there that I can't believed they are actually televised. Some of the so called "comedy shows" today just leave me shaking my head. |

Are there shows you watch that you just can't wait till they come on the following week? Too make sure you don't miss them, do you set your DVR maybe? Lessee... favorite shows.. #5) *House #4) *Mythbusters #3) *Ghost Whisperer #2) *Torchwood and, my #1 favorite TV program is: #1) *Doctor Who Ah, so you do get to see the local US programming, that's cool. Shows how behind the times I am, I just learned pretty recently that you can tell the type of programming from the type of dish one has. I've seen a few that have this different type of cone on the dish, which, from what I've read is the "whole kitten caboodle" - programming from literally all over the world. I think it may be interesting for maybe three to four months just to see the programming from other countries, but it's somewhat expensive IMO just for tv. Your #1 I have never even heard of - same goes for #2. I do like the Ghost Whisperer mainly because I think Jennifer is really pretty, I watched it every Friday back when her husband died but then jumped into the body of Sam. I had no idea how they were going to keep that show going after that, but it was pretty cool how they did it, some of those episodes at the end had me tearing up. ;-) Do she ever let "Sam" know that her husbands spirit jumped into him? Did he believe it? Did they ever get remarried BA? LOL....you're going to have to fill me in BA, I felt I missed so much of it - that I wouldn't be able to jump back in.;-) Your#4 I saw a few episodes, I can see why you like that. And the show House, I have a friend that is an avid viewer so I watched it just to see what it's about. Definitely a very catchy show, and out of the maybe 10 episodes I watched, everyone of them was good. |

Since they took TV away from us Americans our TV viewing consists of very
occasional favorites from an ample VHS and DVD library that we've thankfully put together. Quite honestly, none of us miss anything on TV. Maybe the boneheads in that industry should have spoke up when the bureaucrats came up with such a moronic idea as converting the whole country to an unnecessary and digital system that is technically full of flaws (and friends who have it say it is inferior...in fact one just sold his digital converters at his garage sale and decided to quit TV cold turkey). These morons and their advertisers cut off their noses to spite their faces by creating yet one more reason to send viewers elsewhere. We've also discovered a whole lot of new aspects of a social life and personal interests and hobbies that were being robbed when TV was analog...so life without TV has made our lives a lot better. Our favorite program? The raster. We do more enjoyable things now. Smokey |

About six or seven months ago, I bought one of those amplified tv
antennas at the Wal Mart Gestapo store, for my RCA tv set.It looks like a flat panel thingy and it has a wall socket adapter.I am real slow about getting around to doing most thingys.I haven't hooked up and tried out that antenna yet. cuhulin |

When the Big digital tv switch is made later on this month, (June 12, I
think) more than a few million people's tv screens are going blank.According to an article at www.tvpredictions.com I use two two 27'' CRT tv sets, one of them is my RCA tv set I bought on October 15,1999 for WebTV and sitting next to that tv set is my Sony Wega Trinitron 27'' flat screen tv set I use for watching tv.I bought that tv set in December 2004 at one of the Cowboy Maloney Electric City stores around here.My Sony tv set is both analog and digital tv capable. But since it isn't a true HD tv set, the tv programs still look like mostly analog to me and that is the way I like it too.Screw that real/true HD tv, it SUCKS! cuhulin |
