Default Any review of the Tecsun PL-390 ???

Hello all,

I'm considering buying this radio, but first wanted to have some
feedback from people having it.

So far I've seen small reports on UltraLightDX Yahoo group, or feedback
such as the following : http://tinyurl.com/3xftdh8
But I've also read some reports saying it is not that good...

I'm currently using a Sangean 909 at home and a Sony SW100 while
traveling, combined with external speakers. This means having different
wall marts, two sets of batteries (2 AA for the Sony, 6 AAA for the
speakers), so having only one set with radio + stereo speakers,
chargeable from via USB port, seams a great option.

My concern is :
- does connecting this radio via USB for charging, or via AUX IN to
enhance the PC sound, import some RFI into the sound ?
- is the sound of the radio good enough ? No "metallic" sound lile with
some cheap Chinese made PC speakers ?
- The report I've mentionned earlier says that reception is almost at
the level of a Sony 7600GR... If I could have more information/testimony
on that subject, it would be great...

Thanks for your input,

Charly
