In the infamous Katyn forest the total number of executed Polish officers was 4421 (from the 1959 official KGB records)... the rest were shot in several OTHER locations such as Ostashkov (6311),Starobelsk (3820) and several other locations in Ukraine and White Russia. The total number as per KGB- was 21857. Now - let's see, David Irving was 7(!) years old when WWII ENDED. What firsthand knowledge can he possess/obtain ? In 2006 Irving was sentenced to three years in prison for denying the "holocaust" in a speech he gave in Austria 13 years earlier in 1989. Ponder that for a moment; thrown in prison for saying something 13 years earlier. Wow.
If he did less than the three years he was sentenced he is no less a hero.

Don't know what your point is about him being only seven years old and England not invaded etc. is. None is germane to his credentials as a historian. Historians study the past by sifting through archives of documents and he travels world wide doing just that.

And no Irving is anything but a joker. He is a serious scholar who actually does legitimate research. The CONformist historians (emphasis properly placed on the CON as in CON artists) are the jokers.
