Shortwave propagation relies entirely on "natural phenomena"... thass iss why reception varies by time (i.e. daylight/darkness at both transmitter and receiver), by date (because of same variations), by frequency (that's why broadcasters change frequency), by sunspot cycle, by.... well, you get the picture. SW isn't the same as turning on your AM-FM portable and getting the Local Station at Perfect Levels. |
