If you can't gather more information faster than reading a newspaper
there is a problem. On top of the fact that "print doesn't have to be
a newspaper". I have always gotten better and more diversified news
from shortwave (since 1951) or the net.

Actually, the info in newspapers is usually more in-depth than that

heard on
most broadcasters. The best thing is to read several diferent newspapers

each
day.

And what does it say about a President if he neither reads newspapers or
listens to radio? King Bush, the first, was a SWLer, but I've never

heard of
Bush II listening.

It explains why GW knew so little about the world until he got a crash
course in everything after being elected. He's got to be one of the
least intelligent presidents in US history. Everyone on his staff is
smarter than him and they know it. That's why it's easy for them to
manipulate him.

He passed! What's your point?

Do you have any kind of degree? Any advanced degrees?

It doesn't take a genius to be President, only someone who knows right from wrong.
George fits the bill!

Liberals still try to portray George W. Bush as being stupid. As pointed out,
they just don't hand out those MBA's like candy.

He was a C student at Phillips Andover. He got a not-so-stellar 1206 on his
SATs - 566 verbal, 640 math. That was a full 180 points below the median score
for the Yale University class of '68. But boola-boola for him! In the fall of
1964, George W. Bush was welcomed inside Yale's ivy-covered walls as a "legacy
admittee." And why not? The wisecracking Texas teen had something far more
powerful than dumb ol' test scores or silly grades.

He had a father, George H.W. Bush, who was a rich and prominent Yale alum. And
a grandfather, too. Prescott S. Bush, the aristocratic Connecticut senator, was
even a Yale trustee. If this wasn't affirmative action, nothing is. Affirmative
action for rich white kids whose daddy and granddaddy also went to Yale. And of
course, this particular unlevel playing field denied a place to some
higher-scoring, harder-working student who made a single, tragic mistake - not
being born as well as the Bushes. Tough luck for him or her.

Nah, the tragic mistake was not theirs, it was their parents! They made the tragic
mistake of not attending Yale! Thereby giving their offspring no chance at being
admitted as legacys.

Simple as that!
