The mini-200 is NOT a Tecsun R-919 as someone else has told you. The 919 is
equal to the Mini-300 which I don't believe is out just yet. The 200 is just a slightly larger version of the Mini-100. I have all three and find the 200 to be the best of the 3. It is very sensitive off the whip (h.f.), has decent volume and picks up local M.W. and F.M. stations well. It seems to go for the shelf life of the batteries too. It is the radio I carry in my tackle box... "UJ" wrote in message ... I'm considering getting myself a Grundig Mini 200 just to have something to carry around for casual broadcast listening. Anyone care to persuade or dissuade me? MB |
