Well, a NIB one is clearly going to charge a premium price. However, good to excellent used ones are going in the $300 to $400 range. I just bought one for $350. New 800s go for $500. IMO, $150 is "considerably less". A factory (Drake) reconditioned '800' is the best way to get a reliable one. They sell for $399 at Universal and other sources. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |

Someone thought I was crazy stating that used 700s go for less than new 800s. I provided my proof, and you just added more. Thanks. That's also what I meant when I said I would get an 800 if I could get a good deal on one. The $350 reconditioned ones seem to have disappeared from eBay.
