: I've heard about Total Recorder. Is this the best? I own Total Recorder and Replay Radio; I use Replay Radio. http://www.replay-radio.com It's more reliable than the 300 MHz Pentium II PC it runs on. I needs more than 1 GHz of processor to record from Windows Media streams of 32kbps or better, though it seems to fare better recording Real streams in that neighborhood on my slower PC. The only real problem I have with it is that some applications (specifically Real Player and [just discovered today] Quintessential) can't play some of the MP3 files it generates. Winamp and WMP have no trouble playing them, nor does my DVD player, and Nero has no trouble making the occasional audio CD from them. -- "I am afeard there are few die well that die in a battle; for how can they charitably dispose of anything when blood is their argument? Now, if these men do not die well, it will be a black matter for the King that led them to it; who to disobey were against all proportion of subjection." - W.S. |
