This is a bad medium for the finer nuances of irony, sarcasm,
hyperbole,
understatement. I was belabouring the obvious in an attempt to add
credence to the statements preceding the question.

You are right on that point Mike. Nuances? Subtlety? Wazzat?

horoscopes and tried to keep him awake. Steroid-formed Schwartzenegger
lied about seeing Soviet tanks in his town - so says the Austrian gov't
- never any in his town.

Someone is telling lies about what Arnold said -- he didn't say that he
saw the tanks in his home town. Read the transcript.

I don't need a transcript. I watched him say it. The whole thing was on
CPAC.

You don't provide quotes. I heard the speech realtime... He didn't
say that he saw the tanks in his home town. Also, what a child would
call (and remember) as a 'tank' might be a personel carrier. Memory
of such items (even as an older child) would be quite distorted. Take
a look at the inside of your old grade-school -- it will seem much
smaller nowadays.

The impression left in the mind of a child will often persist into
adulthood. Demanding an adult mentality inside of Arnold as a child
is MUCH MUCH more than the mentality demanded by the left for John
Friggen Kerry or BJ Clinton.

Again, where did Arnold claim that the tanks were in his home town?
Please provide quotes, and not paraphrase...

Where Arnold claimed that the tanks were in his home town was obviously
in the distorted, hatefilled, leftist mind.

John

You forgot "girlie man".

From what I understand, Arnold is now an adult. So are all of the
politicians, and they all lie and behave like children. I agree with that
much.

Firstly, the impression left as a child is still often kept with the
child's perspective (even when being an adult.) I certainly didn't
claim that Arnold had lied, but would agree that Kerry has been too
deceptive and made too many important claims that were deceptive (based
upon extremist sources.) I would only agree that most of the currently
running Dems are quite deceptive. (I would give leave for Lieberman,
Bayh, and a few others who are honest enough to be non-Dems if they
wished.)
