Bob Sillett's colorful Shortwave Log has a lot of bells for being
freeware.

Requires no interface, just a standard cable.


I control my ICOM R75 via Shortwave Log with a cheap laptop PII 300MHz,
128 MB RAM, Win98SE, although with XP Shortwave Log has sound support
too!
