Got the Kaito KA1102 today. Works great and has lots of bang for the
buck. You can also get it in black instead of that God awful silver
color.

Glad I didn't get that Sony after all.

ROTFLMAO!

Yes I'm laughing that the Sony doesn't come with a charger or
batteries or has a speaker that sounds worth a ****. I've been a ham
for 25 years and this is a good radio to keep on the nigtstand. It
works and for half the price as the Sony. So you keep paying for the
name and I'll keep the difference.

Yeap, those Chinese batteries and charger will last a lifetime.
They sure make that ass wipe radio perform so much better - ROTFLMAO!

or has a speaker that sounds worth a ****.

You deffinately never heard a 7600GR - ROTFLMAO

Better reception in the outhouse.

Yeap, it works alright, just barely.

So you keep paying for the name and I'll keep the difference.

Let me know when you buy a second Kaito after the first one has its
scheduled self-lobotomy.

Please by all means, tell us what you recommend for a small receiver
for trips and just sitting on the nightstand. That's if you can be
serious for a moment in between your rants.

I use a SW07 which also has traveled around the world with me about a dozen
times.

A ham for 25 years and he still can't afford a decent radio - bwaHAHAHA.
Yeap, that Bash ticket done your pocket book well.

I am not a Ham,but that reminds me,I need to get my transceiver radio
checked out to see if it works ok.I bought it for two dollars at a
Goodwill thrift store about a month ago.It looks brand new to me,I don't
think it has ever been used before. It was still in the box at the store.
www.rigpix.com has a picture of what it looks like,ADi AR-147 60
Watts.

I wouldn't waste my money on a Kaito so-called "radio".Unless one shows
up at the Goodwill thrift store. They usually charge between two to four
dollars for radios over there at that store.the most I ever paid for a
radio at any of the three Goodwill stores around here was $14.00 for my
Grundig AM/FM/Shortwave/Phonograph wooden cabinet floor model radio. It
does work but it doesn't put out much audio.I don't know what's wrong
with it.I don't know how to repair radios.

Like your self-lobotomy? Hell, it worked on you. The worst thing that
could happen is that it starts broadcasting Voice of Korea all the time,
but unlike you that would at least be funny.
