I am just glad Hurricane Katrina or a tornado didn't blow my house
away, especially with doggy and I sitting in my dining room ready to dive
under the kitchen table if the big pecan tree in my front yard near my
house or the big pecan tree in my back yard near my house was about to
fall over on my house.I could do without electricity for weeks if I have
to.I have GOT to get those two trees trimmed down.I am glad my
electricity is back on too, airconditioning sure is nice.My sister and
brother in law own a Pace Arrow motorhome they have parked next to their
house. He has shingles. He had the airconditioning runing off the
motorhome's generator in his motorhome when I went over there this
morning and he was sitting in there watching tv.He has to stay out of
the heat with those shingles he has.

This .sig file will continue until Mister Fort posts a sincere apology to all
cancer victims and their families. His refusal to do so says more about his
attitude and upbringing than any of his thoughtless and hurtful postings in
rec.radio.shortwave. He seems to be very proud of the fact that he can buy
expensive radios using the refunded deposit money from his empty beer containers
and has frequently posted the fact. It appears he is well on his way to
purchasing his next radio. Anyone caring about his well-being should mention the
good work of Alcoholics Anonymous to him.

IOW, covering your ass for when you respond to one of my posts by
mistake...because I don't believe you.

I'll
start by putting you in with Mikey as a start.

If mII's in your killfile, that's news to me...and him as well.

This group would
obviously be much better off without you.

So remember this whenever
you post, I will see them no more.

Goodbye Honkus and have a good life.

There is a big giant about sixty or seventy feet tall pecan tree in my
front yard that has a big giant fork that almost touches the roof over
my living room area and a tree just like it in my back yard that almost
touches the roof over my bed room area.Last Monday morning, doggy and I
sat out the storm in my dining room,I figured if any of those trees came
crashing down,we would dive under my dining room table and trust to
luck.We sat there untill about 11:00 PM Monday night.I was scared
s..tless! If I had to do it all over again,in hindsight,we would sit it
out in my car in my driveway.

Not a good idea. You're -much- safer in your house than you would be under
that thin metal car roof.

You're right. There is a post on mews:rec.antiques.radio+phono that
mentioned a man being killed by a branch that fell out of his pecan tree
in Meridian, Ms. He was in his yard talking to neighbors when he heard
it start to break off. His neighbors ran one way and he ran for his
house, but he didn't make it.
