Pack of idiots. Bill, W6WRT I had an Amplifier I was selling for parts only - to "build" a Ham Amp - pulled by E-Bay. The thing had NO finals in it. I was offering it only for the transformer and some other parts. Strangely, I have seen many amps (CB related) - NOT pulled. Ya really have to wonder.......... I think ebay typically only pulls auctions when some viewer takes exception and emails them with a complaint. Often times this is a "friend" or some do-right with nothing better to do with their time. No doubt there are hundreds, if not thousands of all kinds of items that have legality issues. Surely there cannot be someone at ebay that has global knowledge of these infractions. They have to rely on the do-rights to bring things to their attention. Geary |
