There is a two-component epoxy putty, I have used this to
water-proof/weather-proof different kludges of mine--even to construct standoff, insulators and unique hardware bits... my latest stash came from the 99-cent store... "bondo" can also be used from autosupply stores (used to fill dents in auto bodies) with good success (strength is somewhat less)... Warmest regards, John -- Marbles can be used in models with excellent results! However, if forced to keep using all of mine up... I may end up at a disadvantage... I seem to have misplaced some already!!! I used | proper sized wire clamps(w/teeth) [two of them , torqued proper] | wonder if a good compression fit is OK ? | Or will corrosion eventually make this a poor connection? | It's still new enough i could clean it and solder it | Any thoughts? I would hate to throw off harmonics | | Split bolts are used by electricians. | If you are concerned about corrosion, wrap the joint with good electrical | tape (rated for outdoor usage - UV and temperature range) - some power | companies do this for outdoor connections subject to corrosion, etc. | | gb | | |
