Kids will learn the language and the "bad stuff" anyhow, and the SFB's

But on the other hand, I want it cleaned up because its piggish and
awful manners and catering to the lowest common denominator.

Besides that it conveys no information and no humor. They are "zero
content" words that get in the way of the topic or joke or whatever.

I remember watching one of the Eddie Murphy movies and getting
disgusted. Here was a amazingly funny guy, and all the profanity just
got in the way, like you said.

If you want to listen to how profanity can be used properly in
entertainment, listen to Garrison Keillor. He will say a mild off color
word about once every 6 months, and it's very rarity makes for a real
kick. His 4th of July fireworks barge disaster is a classic in that way.

(Rush Limbaugh MODE ON)
Must be a liberal then..... wanting the government (yes the FCC is part of
the government) to control your lives. A true republican/conservative wants
limited/barebones government.

Some of us hams might be proud to wear a shirt like that. While I don't
disagree with Part 97 or the basic regulatory apparatus, I do disagree
with the blatant censorship being perpetrated by the FCC.

And I have both my Extra and my General Radiotelephone licenses.

Actually Mike, I am neither a Democrat or Republicrat....... Haven't went
out and gotten my official card, but typically aligned with the Libertarian
party.

Long time, no type eh?

Hey, Ryan!. I'm happy to be registered Independent. And there are more
of us all the time. P*****g people off because of actually thinking
about an issue before voting!

To date, it has been about a 60-40 split. The reader is encouraged to
speculate which party has the 60, and which has the 40..... 8^)
