However, he is probably technically on-topic if his scanner's frequency range
covers the AM broadcast band like mine does.



Ah, the only reason I said that was because I thought (it looked like he
wasn't getting any help here) that someone would give him a hand over there is
all.

It 'could be' on topic, just wanted him to know there is another place to ask.
