Yours is an inherently unfair proposal though, because you are omitting many many equally valid two-way translations. We should provide: Uzbek to Spanish and vice versa. Slovak to Cambodian and vice versa. Farsi to Wu and vice versa. Lithuanian to Hawaiian and vice versa. Qawiaraq to Yoruba and vice versa etc. Indeed why don't you busy yourself this slow sunday by figuring out how many two language translation permutations there are. Then figure out who will pay for it all. Once you have finished then consider why it is often important to limit our choices to the ones that will result in some value. |
