However =IF= These AM Radio Listeners are in-fact 'still' Listening to AM Radio Stations with : AM {Analog} Radios +and+ Are Listening to AM {Analog} Radio Broadcasts. . It All Means Nothing "Nada" [.] {FYI - Thats A Big Period} . Numb3rs Have Meaning -and- Are Often Meaningless ~ RHF . This Comes from That Place {Both Near and Far} Where Everything Adds Up to Nothing . . . [ Die Grosse Welt Von Nichts ] - What it means is that the owners of the major AMs - know that they must do something to change AM... - either HD or move the format to FM. The later would seam to be the better 'choice' Long Term IBOC FM "HD" Radio would give them : 1 - Better Overall Local Market Signal Coverage 2 - Better Sound Quality and the 'option' for a Second Audio {Data} Channel. 3 - Plus Younger Listener Demographics - - - So . . . Why Waste the Time, Money and Technology on IBOC AM "HD" Radio which as you admit is at best a short term lossing game. hey 'hd' buggy whips didn't work either ~ RHF |
