This has nothing to do with private sector unions, but rather public sector unions. But in typical Liberal/Democrat/Marxist/Socialist fashion, you have attempted to twist the issue into something else entirely. Please, try to pay attention! Unions are a side issue. This is about Republicans over-reaching, claiming mandates where none exist, and politically attacking democratic-leaning institutions for purely political reasons. The Wisconsin union gave the governor every economic concession he asked for...and the guv turned them down cold. This CLEARLY proves that the guv's agenda had nothing to do with economics and EVERYTHING to do with busting the unions. Please note that when guv Walker was the county exec in Milwaukee County, he tried to bust the union there...and ended up costing the taxpayers of Milwaukee County $500,000 for his folly when an independent auditor said he illegally fired them and they had to be re-hired with back pay. Walker has a long and sad history of trying to bust unions. |
