Mark, this is pretty outlandish. Democrats didn't reject him because he was
hispanic. They rejected because of his ultra-conservatism. Voting for him
because he was a hispanic would've been racist.

In the documents the Democrats inadvertently kept on a public drive,
there was mention of concern about letting his nomination get to a vote
because he is hispanic. I think Sen. Durbin wrote that one.

Personally, I think you show prejudice when you equate conservatives with
racists or bigots.

Possibly, but I stand by my conclusion that oyu'll find a lot more openly
racist bigots on the conservative side than on the liberal side. As a sample,
look at this very NG.

We'll need to agree to disagree on that one. I really think it's a case
of finding what you're looking for.

Interestingly, the Republican I've heard the most buzz about as a possible
Presidential candidate for 2008 is Dr. Rice.

I might vote for her. But I don't think the republicans would ever give her the
nomination. Never.

I don't know. She's sharp as a tack. She's got a lot of fans in
conservative circles.

It didn't really help him in the 2000 primaries, but polls on vote.com
after Republican debates consistently showed people thought Dr. Keyes
was winning the debates.

My guess is people who participated in those polls were probably among
the more conservative members of the Republican party.

But I also think they're just a vocal minority, and some of the remarks are
puffed up for "entertainment value".

In other words, those openly racist conservatives don't really mean it? Yep. I
applaud your telepathic abilities to understand what conservative REALLY
mean....

Eh, I think some of the crap gets said primarily to get folks like you
riled up.

And you tend to presume anyone who disagrees with you is a conservative
even if they haven't expressed conservative views.

But you're a good guy. I enjoy talking to you. If all conservatives were as
nice as you this world would be a much better place.

Thanks. Most of the conservatives I run into are nice people.

Take it easy,

You too.

So, God forbid, Kerry wins in Nov. and all of his nominations are blocked,
do you think the Dems won't be playing the race card? Its one of the things
liberals do best.

A few NG posters hardley makes a sample. Again your conclusion is drawn from
very little factual evidence.

In other words, those openly racist conservatives don't really mean it?

But you have all the answers right? So what do you use, tarot cards, crystal
ball, Dear Abby?

But you're a good guy. I enjoy talking to you. If all conservatives were

And if all liberals were NOT like you, this world would be a much better
place.

MWB - YES Its Is Rascist [.]

To the Democrats Estrada is NOT the Right Type (Stereo-Type)
of Hispanic. He is a non-democrat and does not subscribe to
the poor minority that needs the Liberal Democrat White Leaders
to Help Him become someone.

When it comes to 'minorities' he Democrats have each Group
Categorized into the Right Kind of People (Our People) and
those who just don't know their place.

This clearly places the Democrats as the most Bigoted and
Biased Political party of the two major parties in the USofA.

When a Democrat Leader says the name of Supreme Court Justice
"Clarence Thomas" . . . the make it sound like the "N" Word [.]

MWB - Think About Your Words !

Hide and are Dis-Honest about their True Views.

What does this mean? Yet another Bushism, or is it REALLY what he thinks?

===========================================
I believe that people whose skins aren't necessarily a different color

The sentence is the equivalent of a double negative. It means WHITE can
self govern!

What he SHOULD have said, if he were SANE, was:
===========================================
I believe that people whose skins aren't necessarily white can self-govern."

and this guy has his finger on the button..You'd think Cheney, Perle and
Wolfowitz could have picked a better puppet.

I depends on whether you are Bryant or not.

If you are not Bryant you understand the President misspoke.

If you are Bryant you think Bush is racist.

If you are m II you are an insane Canadian.

Hope that clears things up for you.
