only $2 at one of the local thrift stores

That's what I paid for mine at an estate sale. I liked it so well

I sold
my Super III in a garage sale for $20. RM~

Hi Rob

So are you saying the GE Super Radio II {2} is the best one GE makes

for
shortwave??

Can you please elaborate on why the radio impressed you so much?

What are
the features that make this radio still talked about today?

It's good for BCB AM DX-ing; that's what it's designed for.

Let me find a Superadio II over there at the Goodwill store for a couple
of dollars and I will buy it too.
