As I said, an unnecessary elaboration (it is redundant);
you would see nothing.

Yes.

....Why?

Heh, heh, the more things change, the more they remain the
same. From "Worldbook 2001": "Ether ... could not be seen,
felt, or weighed and was present in vacuums, ..."

Has to do with the spinning of this marble we live on. At the equator which
direction does the water rotate.?

It also affects the whorrels in your hair pattern and the directions beans
grow up a stick. What happens to pole beans at the equator?

It that mirror or yours working correctly? Did you try hanging it upside
down? You don't live below the equator do you? Cause, yanno, water spins
one way going down a drain in the northern, opposite in the
southern--somethin' 'bout gravity--or the warping of the ether... grin

Warmest regards,
John

Waves are exactly equal and opposite and cancel.

Because human eyes cannot detect RF? :-)

A source impedance of 100+j100 ohms ensuring 100 volts
at the source output terminal to a load impedance of
100-j100 ohms through one wavelength of lossless 50 ohm
coax is conjugately matched.

A source impedance of 50 ohms ensuring 100 volts at
the source output terminal to a load impedance of 100-j100
ohms through one wavelength of lossless 50 ohm coax is
not conjugately matched.

All conditions of voltage, current, and power external to
the source output terminal are identical in both cases,
i.e. making only passive measurements, one cannot tell
the difference between a conjugate match and a mismatch.
Except for a minor effect on my power bill, I fail to see
what the hullabaloo (concerning conjugate matching) is
all about.

Called the "Coriolis Effect". In the Northern Hemisphere,
relative to the axis of rotation, points toward the north
move slower than points to the south. If we lived on a
cylinder rather than a sphere, we probably wouldn't have
any hurricanes.

Say, since math models seem to be able to dictate reality,
wouldn't a simple transformation from spherical coordinates
to cylindrical coordinates stop the hurricanes?

Oh yeah, everyone is familiar with that explaination, oxygen being slightly
magnetic is responding to the earths magnetic field. And, being closer to
one pole is more likely to spin in one direction--when closer to another
pole the opposite... actually, I accept this--I didn't think anyone would
miss it was being used as a "joke"... when you have to explain the jokes,
it is just not the same... frown

Regards,
John

Yes.

Please cite your reference for this 'conjugate mirror'.

Thank you.

In "Reflections", Walt has a chapter entitled "Into the
Conjugate Mirror" or something like that.
