Horsemeat.... I thought at first glance you'd written "horse****".

You
wouldn't
have been far off if you had.

Ha haa hahahahaa aha pot and kettles with black included mate. Every

country
knows the truth with that one, i wont push it further..

English five-star hotel -- one with French cooks.

Id say American 5 star hotel, with a Fatty Arbuckles or McDonalds

franchise

but you already know that...

Best you can do for a smiug-**** reply?

If we'd let the Germans have you in WWII, you'd at least have
a marginally better "cuisine" right now.

You do sprawl some absolute drivel. Id get out a bit more if i was you....

Put enough curry in it and you can gag it down. Some people
forget which way civilization lowed in this regard.

So come on then mr food critic, give us an insight into what you eat then
which puts you in a position to criticise or even to know what your

typing

a
bit of a strange statement...

Flowed, jerkoff. You have no gift for context. You're simply
unwilling to admit the only thing to recommend eating in England is
that which you were given by those you subjugated, natve English
"cuisine" is pasty crap.

Well given the standard of your spelling how are we supposed to know what
you are on about. And as for gift of context the utter drivel you spout is
quite amusing. It also lets others know you are quite immature and dont know
an awful lot. If I was to get down to the same level as you I would say all
you americans eat are donuts, turkey and mcdonalds..... thats the steriotype
which i know not to be true... now you need to realise what you know is
untrue too...

Specially trained, like that lot who killed the brazilian guy?

Some training. Don't get ID. Take a leak instead of watching your
subject. Chase him down, again without ID. Pin him to a seat in the
Tube. THEN shoot.

Sorry, I don't give a rat**** about these "my country is better than
yours" threads but do NOT give me this "Specially trained" bull****.
That was an amateur screw up, that cost an innocent man his life.

One occurance and the Brazilian guy was so innocent his address was found in
one of the un-exploded back packs. The only thing he was innocent of was
that he wasnt actually carrying a bomb and probably wasnt part of the 5 bomb
assault team that day. What about the American Police who shoot to kill then
ask questions later.... your saying this doesnt happen?
As far as my country is better than your country goes, i have never said
that and nor will i. I have a huge amount of respect for America and its
people.. well, most of its people... and you will find if you knew me at all
i take as i find.. if people are nice to me i am nice back. I am nice to
people who i dont know... until they make me dislike them... The specially
trained quote is true... they are not normal Bobbies on the Beat.. but that
said, even specially trained people screw up sometimes, its a fact of life.

Actually, different tribes were constantly fighting, and took slaves
when they didn't just kill them. Later, they discovered that they

could
sell or trade their slaves for things that they wanted with the ships
that arrived on the African coast to trade goods. A lot of those ships
were from England, and they took the slaves to other places to sell
them.

So Michael, the point you make here is that the different tribes in

America
were already into slavery and used them to barter with the English for

goods
and suchlike therefore making my point that slavery wasnt a result of the
good old British Colonies... They may have been involved in the
transportation of slaves for profilt but that wasnt the point. The

previous
post said, or tried to imply it was the British Colonies that introduced
slavery where that simply wasnt the case.

Also most of the slaves who ended up in Britain werent treated quite as
badly in comparison although they probably didnt think so at the time.

Anyhows this has lead a little off topic as so many threads do, but its

nice
to actually have a converstaion about things rather than cheap insults.
Thank you..

Read for comprehension -- he said, "ships that arrived on the
African coast". Doesn't sound to NA, does it?

Comprehension is a big word for you to spell correctly, its a shame the rest
of it isnt too good... Let me say to you once more The British Empire didnt
bring slavery to America, you managed that by yourself quite sucessfully.
BTW slavery was around in the days long before the "British Empire", slavery
even today is a way of life for many people.

The British ships that arrived on the US coast wanted cotton to take
to England. That is where they finally got paid. Then they restocked
the ship with goods for Africa and repeated the cycle. All they had when
they arrived on the shores of the US to trade their cargo was a ship
load of slaves and a few manufactured goods from England. They traded
both of them for cotton.

Only an idiot would mistreat any worker that was doing their best.
After all, if you kill all the help you won't make enough money to live,
will you? And then there were "Indentured servants" who traded a number
of years or labor for passage to the US, and were basically slaves
during that time. Legally they were the property of whoever paid their
way, till their time was up.

I never said I approved of any slavery. On the other hand there were
people of every race who were held in slavery at one time or another
throughout the history of mankind, and this still doesn't make it right
at any time.

Please dont think for one minute i support or ever did support slavery...
because i dont and you know, as well as i that slavery still goes on in many
countrys today, especially some third world countrys but there is also still
a lot of it in the US and to a degree the UK too. I have no problems with
the comments you have made Michael and on the whole i agree with you.
The whole arguement on this thread was someone whit half a brain saying it
was the British Empire that created slavery.. and it simply isnt true. All i
pointed out was that slavery was massive in the US and you even had internal
wars over it so to have a go at the UK over slavery was a bit idiotic.
Cheers...

Actually it was the british colonies that introduced slavery in
America.
The first imported African slaves brought to the British North
American colonies were landed at Jamestown, Virginia in 1619.

Long before the U.S.A. existed.

In the 17th century, slavery was used as punishment by conquering
English Parliament armies against native Catholics in Ireland. Between
the years 1649 and 1653, during the Cromwellian conquest of Ireland by
the New Model Army under the command of Oliver Cromwell, thousands of
Irish Catholics were forced into slavery. Cromwell had a deeply
religious antipathy to the Catholic religion and Irish Catholics who
had participated in Confederate Ireland had all their land confiscated
and were transported to the West Indies as slaves.

Eh?? why are you telling me this?? I didnt say and never have that slavery
never existed in the UK and i never said The British Empire didnt condone
and use slavery. But the English never introduced slavery to the US

Chronology Of The History Of Slavery: 1619-1789

1619
The other crucial event that would play a role in the development of America
was the arrival of Africans to Jamestown. A Dutch slave trader exchanged his
cargo of Africans for food in 1619. The Africans became indentured servants,
similar in legal position to many poor Englishmen who traded several years
labor in exchange for passage to America. The popular conception of a
racial-based slave system did not develop until the 1680's. (A Brief History
of Jamestown, The Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities,

Note the word DUTCH....
