This is not a simple issue. An iPod has "my favorite songs" on it. A radio station tries to have "everyone's favorite songs" on it. So, to get consensus songs, the list is shorter because I may love what you hate! The younger the listener, the shorter the list. I do see stations appealing to adults trying to add variety, but nothing like 1000 song iPod collections. |
