What's "anonie" about Frank Gilliland?

Just curious that the only "Frank Gilliland" I can find in FCC
files had his license expire over 2 years ago.

Unless it's a middle name or someone forgot to drop a new 610
(605)?

Steve, K4YZ

Who said Frank is in the FCC database? As far as I know he's not a ham
radio operator. That doesn't make him "anonie", does it?

Typical hammie attitude -- if you're not a ham you're nobody.

I think you have it wrong, Frank. I believe the typical ham attitude
is: If you aren't a ham and persist in posting material about the
wonders of CB radio in an amateur radio group, *then* you're nobody.

That's one of the difference between holy-hammies and CBers; the
holy-hammies begin their statements with "I believe....." while the
CBers start with "The facts are.....".

And the facts are that his discussion began in -this- newsgroup with
the thread "Emergency communications", where some CB-hating hams
crossposted their highly subjective and speculative opinions to rrcb.
I'm just here to set the record straight. If you don't want CBers in
this newsgroup then quit crossposting your anti-CB garbage.

You're right. I've heard 'em do it--whether they have facts or not.

That's funny. I checked to see if your post had gone to other groups
before I responded. This was the only newsgroup indicated. There goes
your perfectly good rant.

You're a CB'er too, call-less camd buzz/jj/corey, or whatever you call
yourself this month.

According to Steve, K4YZ, you're an "anonie" too.

What's your call, camd buzz/jj/corey?

Hate to dissappoint you steveo, but I have never operated a cb radio or
any other radio on the cb band.

Thankfully they're not all like that, or convicted child abusing felons
like N8.

True story. I know quite a few -decent- hams and I actually encourage
people to get their license if they show the interest. It's the few
hams with a holier-than-thou attitude that makes amateur radio so
repulsive to the rest of us.
