I wrote a protracted letter to the people at CNN last night, after hearing
them harping that the feds were unprepared and too slow to respond to the
crisis..

H-E-Double-Toothpicks.. what were they supposed to do? Set up camp right
there on the coast and get blown away themselves? They set up staging areas
where they felt they would be most advantageous. How were they supposed to
know that all roads into the city would become impassible? I admire the
efforts of the rescuers who have used what they had on hand to get to those
in need. Yes, it's inadequate, but it's also largely beyond anyone's control
at this point to do better. Give credit where credit is due.

The response would have been a lot snappier in DC. Well, in
the right neighborhoods, at least.

Its about time the National Guard was sent in as I read on the news, to
give some sort of help.

Well its been 5 days so far, and so far nothing, or at least things are
just starting to happen.

It should not take 5 days should it.
I feel sory for them, I realy do. As for our help, then if Sky news are
not lying then Blair has said he will help and why not.

You need help from any quarter, because so far Bush has been an
inadequate president. See Sky news and listen to the people they are
