Wow... you've really turned into Mr. Hyde... sorry it had to come to that. Everyone has their breaking point. When you put in the effort to turn this group into something useful by posting on-topic, technical messages - only to see people continue arguing and trolling - the most patient can reach their breaking point. It is sad that it comes to that, people who make an effort feeling like it is all pointless. How many other genuine people have gone from this group because of the trolling and fighting... how many more will go before the genuine people of the group see what is happening? Jan Panteltje wrote: And neither had the time to study electronics? You indeed always cop out at solutions that are presented to you in such a clean way you could just implement these, make a better product, get rich from it, and then have the time you do not now have. Hell do you only post here for advertising? Then prepend subject with ADD: Hmmm... Jan must have had a bad day... Or maybe he is just p1ssed off with all the petty arguments. Do the group Trolls not give you enough arguments? Maybe it's true what Voob said... if he goes you simply argue amongst yourselves. Regards, Peter. http://www.citizensband.radiouk.com/ |

DrDeath wrote: I'll be the first to admit, I'm not helping matters any by replying to and even instigating my fair share. Then why do you keep doing it? A good troll has ways to sucker people into responding. Your logic escapes me here... We are only human, Spock. Have you not had your share of pointless arguments on here, have you never been hooked by some troll? Regards, Peter. http://www.citizensband.radiouk.com/ |

I would like to see more technically related issues, even when posting about ham radio. There's no good reason why there should not be technical posts on the group. CB radios need fitting, tuning, reparing, etc just like any radio equipment. Regards, Peter. http://www.citizensband.radiouk.com/ |

Slow Code wrote: I've seen the insides of a lot of low cost amps and the construction on that one looks nicer than most. Yep, only premium quality components go into my products... and nobody else producing amplifiers in this arena has temperature compensated biasing and multiplexed keying capabilities. Please explain your multiplexed keying capabilities... |

New SkyWave 2879ABTC almost ready to fire up...

Please explain your multiplexed keying capabilities... Aside from the usual COR (carrier operated relay) switching, the multiplexed keying capability is designed into the SkyWave 2879AB (and soon to be released 2879ABTC). It allows the user to "hard" key the amplifier as soon as the mic button is pushed... regardless of what mode they're transmitting in, with no additional wiring. This is done with a simple modification to the radio. Email me, and I will send you the information in the form of a PDF file. www.telstar-electronics.com |
